Birdhouse Quilts Bird Call

Come join the fun! We will introduce you to the latest and greatest items in the shop, and let you know what's happening in the upcoming months. Additionally, each month we give you a free pattern for The Birdhouse Quilt Along. Complete your block and bring it the next month for show and tell.

You MUST arrive just before 9:30 am, so you can enter to win door prizes!

Help us spread the word about the Middle Georgia Shop Hop! Even if you think they already know about the event, tag your quilting friends, guilds, or local quilting groups in the comments - anyone you think might enjoy joining in the fun! Every year we always hear from a few folks after the event is over that they wish they knew about the Shop Hop sooner so they could have participated. Tag away and let’s make sure no one feels left out this year!

Rules:

Each shop will have 2 blocks available for $2 ($1 per block) and additional packs of blocks will be $5 each. Collect all 10 blocks and choose your favorite finishing kit from the 5 shop samples.

Passports:

At your first shop, you will receive a Passport. Have your Passport stamped at each shop you visit and turn it in at your last shop to be entered in the prize drawing.

Prizes:

Grand Prize - a $50 Gift Card from each shop ($250 value).

5 Bonus Prizes - a $50 Gift Cards from 1 shop.

Prize Drawing:

The shops will mail all completed passports to one location for the prize drawing. Please allow approximately 7-10 days after the event for the drawing to be completed. We will contact each winner and mail the gift card(s) directly to you. Winners will be posted on the Middle Georgia Shop Hop Facebook page when the drawing is completed.

We will share photos of each shop’s finished quilts in January as soon as the samples are completed.

Need help with a sewing project (quilt, clothes, bags)  We have a Teach Me 2 Make group you would enjoy. Learn with instructor and others for a great experience as well as finish those UFO'S.

We have started a Bird Call Club : Join the text group to receive a monthly reminder.

Instructor: Aleta Treece

If you are a beginner or just want to learn something new this class is for you.  I will teach you to make something you want to make or I will teach you to use your machine. Beginning sewers are most welcome.  Seasoned sewers are most welcome. If you yearn to do something you've never done you are most welcome.

Have you ever wanted to make a T-shirt quilt? Do you have a soon-to-be graduate in your life with a big stack of special T-shirts that he or she won't wear anymore? Do you have T-shirts full of memories from family vacations stacked in dresser drawers? If so, then a T-shirt quilt may be just what you need to make.

You need anywhere from 12 to 20 t-shirts and stabilizer. please do not cut any shirts before you come to class. We will go from t-shirts to t-shirt quilt complete with label.

Flock Together Fridays

Join us for Flock Together Friday and get some quality sewing time! Use our space, away from the distractions and obligations waiting at home, get those UFO's off your back and bust some stash! You can finish it up, or catch up or just enjoy some dedicated sewing time. You'll have access to design wall space, irons, and a cutting table. We'll be available for company and motivation as well as ideas and inspiration. Come sew 10am-4pm for just $7. We have 8 spaces available. Payment guarantees your nest.
